What We Did This Weekend
Round #1 Lillooet Climbing 2009. Our group headed up north to Lillooet, B.C. to experience some of the best ice climbing this area has to offer. Stay tuned for round #2!
An all day dump didn't deter this group from having a spectacular overnight trip in the snow. By dusk the weather cleared and the night hike even brought them views of Aurora Borealis!
This small group scored big on beautiful weather as they hit all the spots. From Ptarmigan Ridge to Mazama Bowl to Little Alaska and Table Mountain, these guys worked it.
You know the OC can't do a three day weekend without some climbing! This group of tweleve rocked Lillooet, B.C. for some awesome ice ascents.
We're not even joking. The Wendy Tompson hut trip proved to be an OC classic and is sure to be remembered. The weather was supreme, the snow perfect...I think we'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The avy danger over the weekend brought this team of hardcore snowshoers to the service road for their caving excursion. Not a whole lot of pictures, but a great time all the same.
The first three day weekend of the quarter meant ice climbing in Canada for the Outdoor Center. The combination of gorgeous weather and sweet ice proved to make one tasty trip.
