Start the day off with a mellow paddle across Bellingham bay to establish a camp along the sandy shores of Lummi Island. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the island by land or by water. Once nightfall comes, find a good spot on the beach to watch multiple fireworks shows across the Puget Sound. After the grand finale, spend some time around a roaring campfire on the beach before drifting off to sleep to the tranquil sounds of the bay. Paddle back to Bellingham that next afternoon. This trip leaves Friday morning and returns Saturday afternoon. Price of the trip includes sea kayak and all necessary paddling gear, tent, guides, camping and transportation. The icy flanks of Mt Baker have been calling you since you first saw it and now is the time to test your mettle and attempt to summit the 10,877 foot giant. On the first day, we will establish a high camp at about 5500 feet at the base of the Coleman Glacier and our qualified guides will ensure that you spend the rest of the day learning the fundamentals of mountaineering and glacier travel. On the second day, we wake up early for an alpine start and make an attempt to summit! This climb requires good physical fitness so start training now!
