Bicycle Shop
The Outdoor Center Bike Shop is many things. Primarily, it serves as a way for you to learn how to fix your bicycle. Bring us your tired, your poor, your weak bicycles, and for a mere $2.00 tool fee, we will show you how to get it running like a well-lubed machine.
The Bike Shop is open weekdays (Mon-Fri) 10:00am-4:30pm.
- Do-It-Yourself-Waxing SFI + Board Waxing
- For $2 we'll provide you with the iron, files, brushes, tuning tools, and other resources. Purchase wax from the OC ($3.50/bar) or bring your own.Saturday Ski bus to Mt. Baker.
What can the Bicycle Shop do?
Retail Parts
Lights, fenders, locks, tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and replacement parts. We sell just about everything, and what we don't sell you can special-order!
Bike Repair
Four Work Stations, two truing stands, FREE assistance, plus clinics on bicycle maintenance.
Bike Tools
For only $2.00, a variety of tools are available for your use. The tool cabinets are full of everything you need for most repairs. We also have specialized tools available for those hard-to-fix items.
How do I find it?
We are located on the bottom floor of the Viking Union, on North Garden Street.
Register your bicycle serial number.
The University Police Department offers on-line bicycle registration for your convenience, and strongly encourages you to use it to record information about your bike that will benefit police in the event your bike gets stolen.
